Her vocal tone has been compared to Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, and Ella Fitzgerald, effortlessly transitioning from a deep, rich lower register to crisp, clean high notes, evoking a sense of tranquility. Her saxophone sound has an organic warmth, incorporating influences of bright jazz and dark classical styles and tonal colors.
Lauren has performed with several symphony orchestras and concert bands in the Southeast and has appeared in concert with the Wycliffe Gordon, the Temptations, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, and Jesse Colin Young.
